Installation and operation instructions for alumina ceramic lining plate

1、 Overview

The alumina ceramic lining plate shall protect the hopper and all areas subject to impact and friction. The specific form and thickness of the wear-resistant lining plate shall be marked by the customer in the drawing.

Alumina ceramic lining plate is made by dry method, the content of alumina is not less than 92%, and the Mohs hardness is Grade 9

2、 Surface treatment of steel parts

The steel surface shall be flat without welding spatter. Welds shall be ground smooth. The concave or protruding edges and corners shall be polished smoothly. If necessary, all surfaces to be installed with alumina ceramic lining plates can be sandblasted.

3、 Installation of alumina ceramic lining plate

1. Keep the surface of ceramic lining plate clean and dry

2. All metal surfaces that need to be installed with alumina ceramic lining plates shall be evenly supported to prevent deformation during construction

3. The alumina ceramic lining plate needs to be cut into irregular shapes according to the bonding surface during construction. The cutting tool used is a diamond blade (toothless saw). The cutting machine is equipped with a water cooling circulating system (water cooling is required during cutting). The fracture should be flat and free of debris. When cutting, cut from the middle of the ceramic, not from the corners. Cutting from the corners is easy to damage the ceramic. Because the ceramic is very hard, you need to use slow force when cutting;

4. The steel plate construction surface shall be sanded and derusted by sand blasting or angle grinder

5. In principle, mix a small amount of glue for many times, pay attention to the drying time of the glue, and reduce the exposure time of the mixed glue in the air

Paste, the thickness of adhesive coating is about 1-2mm

5. The alumina ceramic lining plates shall be placed in a direction that does not hinder the flow of materials. The gap between the alumina ceramic lining plates shall not be greater than 2mm. After the bonding, use a rubber hammer to compact and remove the excess glue.

6. Put the iron cap into the small hole of the porcelain plate, weld it with electric welding (preferably secondary protection welding), then apply glue, and finally protect the welding spot with the porcelain cap (cover the porcelain cap)

7. After the installation of alumina ceramic lining plate, it is not allowed to move before the rubber is fully hardened (full hardening time is 24 hours)

8. If necessary, the surface of alumina ceramic lining plate shall be sanded after curing to ensure that the surface is clean, smooth and free of other impurities.
